The Service Station Ministry Prospectus

A Distinctive Facility--Worldwide!

Everything about Service Station is distinctive. And as one travels throughout the United States and in selected locations throughout the world, a Service Station facility will stand out immediately as an oasis of opportunity for young people. From the moment a person walks into the spacious foyer there is a sense of belonging.

The Service Station is designed to be a comfortable place.  Each facility will have a welcoming ambiance with spaces designed to enhance community, conversation, and productivity.  The Service Station is a connecting place, a destination point, and an event venue. The large and open restaurant allows for casual dining, having the relaxed atmosphere of an European Coffee Bistro.

Fireplaces will be surrounded by comfortable chairs to encourage places for meetings or study. This will quickly become a haven for students of local high schools and universities who want a place to study that is quiet enough that they get things done but busy enough that distractions are avaliable when they need a break. The presence of coffee avaliable for purchase and WIFI at no cost will enrich their time there.

On a typical evening, The Service Station will be full of students working on group projects or studying on their own while any morning of the week, one will find small groups meeting of people of all ages. You never know who you will come across when you enter a Service Station as it may be a group of elderly women at their monthly knitting meeting, high school students dressed up to go to their Prom being held in the Performing Arts Center, professors grading the papers of the nervous studying students on the other side of the cafe or a few people mentoring each other over coffee.

Meeting rooms that are situated on the perimeter of the facility will be available to both small and large groups with comfortable seating to accomodate groups of 12-20. A large executive conference/board room is the perfect venue for board meetings and executive training programs. Additional space for offices that accomodate various business initiatives and outreach programs of The Service Station finish off the comfortable environment.

The 350-seat Performing Arts Center can be converted to accommodate dinner theaters, lectures, weddings, special receptions, and concerts.  Adjacent “large space areas” can expand the facility to accommodate larger groups or serve as breakout space for special meetings or exhibits. The typical Service Station Performing Arts Center can be expanded to host as many as 550.
